Educational work at the department is organized and adjusted in accordance with the guidelines for moral and psychological support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department has a comprehensive system of pedagogical measures aimed at the priority development of innovative approaches in the educational process, taking into account the specifics of training military specialists in accordance with their specialty (specialization).
The staff of the department pays special attention to:
- moral and psychological support of the educational process;
- activities of the management team to increase the humanitarian component of various academic disciplines;
- cultural and educational work;
- implementation of pedagogical monitoring of the signs of professional and moral qualities of the graduate on the basis of systematic diagnostics;
- providing commanders with information to personnel through constant monitoring of the socio-political situation in Ukraine and abroad.
As part of the educational process and on the basis of the Supervision System, the department has planned the work of supervisory officers. This level of officers is of particular importance in the framework of pedagogical support for cadets (students), as they interact most closely with study groups.

Велика увага при організації морально-психологічного забезпечення приділяється науково-педагогічними працівниками в ході проведення навчальних занять. Важливою складовою роботи є виховання у курсантів любові до озброєння та військової техніки, розуміння того, що від її стану залежить не тільки життя військовослужбовців, але й здатність виконати поставлені перед підрозділами завдання. Крім того, викладачі формують почуття відповідальності за вивчення та постійне удосконалення набутих на навчальних заняттях знань, умінь та навичок.
У рамках проведення операції Антитерористичній операції на сході нашої держави, операції Об’єднаних сил та у сучасних умовах широкомасштабного вторгнення та збройної агресії російської федерації на території України, важлива роль науково-педагогічними працівниками кафедри приділяється доведенню до курсантів найбільших досягнень Збройних Сил України, героїчних дій українських військовослужбовців і, зокрема, випускників кафедри, особливостей застосування озброєння та військової техніки та популяризації ролі Збройних Сил України серед цивільного населення.
