Academic integrity is a set of ethical principles and rules defined by law that should guide participants in the educational process during learning, teaching and conducting scientific (creative) activities in order to ensure confidence in learning outcomes and/or scientific (creative) achievements.
The main fundamental values of academic integrity and ethics of academic relations at the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy are
responsibility - the ability to take responsibility for the results of one's activities, fulfill certain obligations, resist manifestations of academic dishonesty, and set examples of decent behavior;
trust - all participants in the educational and scientific process have confidence in the honesty and integrity of each other, can rely on each other, are free from fear that the results of their activities may be stolen, their careers defamed, and their reputation undermined;
dignity - recognition of the values of academic integrity and intolerance to any manifestations of its violation;
respect - respect for the ideas, dignity of others, their physical and mental health, for the benefit of collegiality and cooperation with other participants in the educational and scientific process;
fairness - impartial, equal treatment of all participants in the educational and scientific process, free from discrimination and dishonesty;
honesty and integrity - systematic avoidance of academic dishonesty in educational and research activities.
In order to ensure the public definition and acceptance of the core values of academic integrity, which should become the basis for a positive change in public consciousness and an important step in the systematic introduction of high standards of educational and scientific activities, the National Academy has created a system of academic integrity and prevention of plagiarism, conducts scientific and organizational activities (seminars, round tables, surveys of students and research and teaching staff), makes changes to the educational components of educational programs, conducts
