Methodological work is an integral part of the educational process and one of the main activities of the department. It is aimed at improving the methodology of training and education of cadets, increasing the efficiency and quality of organization and conduct of all types of training sessions, improving the pedagogical skills of research and teaching staff, developing and publishing educational and methodological literature, improving the material and technical support of the educational process, studying, generalizing and disseminating best practices in the training and education of cadets, introducing into the educational process the experience of combat training of troops, conducting local wars and

Over the past five years, the department has developed textbooks and manuals that provide an opportunity to study the structure of the main models of military automotive equipment, rules and technology for their operation and repair. Especially popular are collections of problems on the operational properties of the car, car design and calculation. The department staff also paid attention to the use of automobile units for military road transportation and manuals that allow cadets (adjuncts) to use the existing material and technical base for scientific research.
Among the published works, five were stamped “Recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine” as a textbook for higher education institutions.
