Moral and psychological support activities at the Department are organized and conducted in accordance with the requirements of the guiding documents on humanitarian and social development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department has a comprehensive system of pedagogical measures aimed at the priority development of humane approaches in the educational process, taking into account the specifics of training military specialists in accordance with their specialty.
The main attention in organizing and conducting educational activities at the department is focused on the moral and psychological support of the educational process. The department constantly monitors the moral and business qualities of cadets, identifies, studies and solves problematic issues related to the adaptation of 1st year cadets.
The department has a Pedagogical Council, which holds hearings of curators of study groups to improve the effectiveness of the educational process and cadets on the state of education and military discipline. A system of supervision of the academic staff has been established, whose activities are aimed at improving the quality of training and education of future military specialists. Active measures are taken to visit museums and historical monuments in Lviv.
Considerable attention is paid to the prompt coverage of events in the country, decisions of the state leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine through daily command briefings by the department's academic staff.
The department holds events aimed at developing in cadets high military and patriotic qualities necessary for military service, a sense of patriotism, pride in belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the military educational institution and the chosen specialty.
