Methodical work is an integral part of the educational process at the department and one of the main types of educational activities of the department.
The main tasks of methodical work are:
- scientific and methodological support for the organization, conduct and quality management of the educational process;
- improving the methodological skills of the management and teaching staff of the department;
- improving the methods, forms and technologies of conducting all types of training sessions;
- studying, generalizing and disseminating best practices in the training and education of cadets;
- developing and publishing educational literature;

The main activities of the methodological work at the department are meetings of the department, methodological meetings, open, demonstration, trial and instructor-methodical classes.
The main types of methodical work are: - preparation of lecture notes, methodical materials for group, seminar, practical classes, independent work of cadets; - preparation, review of textbooks, manuals, dictionaries; - development of curricula, syllabi, work syllabi, syllabus of syllabi; - preparation of examination tickets, tasks for final control; - development and implementation of new forms, methods and technologies of teaching; - study and implementation of new forms of teaching and learning.
All activities are aimed at improving the methodological skills of the teaching staff, improving teaching methods, as well as increasing the efficiency and quality of all types of training sessions.
During the independent preparation of cadets for classes, the faculty and support staff of the department provide comprehensive assistance, thereby contributing to the improvement of learning the material of academic disciplines.
