
The department conducts all types of training classes in the disciplines “Small arms and firearms training”, “Firearms training”, “Arms and shooting”, taking into account the latest scientific achievements and the specifics of further activities of graduates. In the course of training in the disciplines of the department, cadets master various types of small arms, grenade launchers, armament of combat vehicles, ammunition, day and night sights and surveillance devices. They learn to master the weapon, perform shooting exercises in various conditions during the day and at night.
Today, the Department of Firearms Training has many combatants and officers who served in the armed conflict zone among its academic staff. The main tasks of the department are:
- training of qualified specialists for law enforcement agencies;
- organizing and conducting all types of educational, methodological and scientific activities at a high level;
- conducting educational work with cadets.
