An integral part of the educational process is educational work aimed at developing high moral, combat, professional and personal qualities of future officers. The special attention of the department staff is aimed at: - formation of cadets' high motivation and persistent desire to master the military profession and practical implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills in the troops; - maintaining proper moral and psychological state, loyalty to the Military Oath and military duty, creating social and humanitarian conditions for the effective performance of assigned tasks; - training officers capable of confidently acting in a difficult situation, creating and maintaining an atmosphere of socially significant moral and ethical relations in military teams; - implementation of the For this purpose, the work of the pedagogical council and curators of study groups was ensured. Their activities are aimed at improving the quality of training and education of future military specialists, active mastery of academic disciplines by cadets, strengthening military discipline in the unit and uniting the military team, maintaining a healthy moral and psychological climate. The officers of the department carry out their activities by studying the personality of the future officer both during the educational process and in extracurricular time. Officers-supervisors systematically participate in summarizing the results of the training course and general meetings of the unit, conduct conversations with cadets on topics that are necessary for them to develop their professional competencies, create moral, psychological and organizational conditions for self-development of subordinates, and foster cultural and spiritual values of servicemen. Cultural and educational events are held with the supervising groups, during which cadets visit theaters, cultural and religious buildings and other historical monuments of Lviv.

Considerable attention is paid to the prompt coverage of the military-political situation in the country, decisions of the leadership of the state and the Armed Forces of Ukraine on countering modern challenges and threats through daily command briefings by the academic staff of the department. The department takes an active part in the events of military-patriotic education of pre-conscription youth organized at the National Army Academy, as part of these events, the department is visited by lyceum students and high school students who have the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern material and technical base of the department. Considerable attention is paid to the military-patriotic education of personnel through propaganda and coverage of heroic deeds of officers - graduates of the faculty and the National Academy in general. Meetings with military personnel and academic staff - participants of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) contribute to the patriotic education of cadets.
