The main efforts of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department in matters of scientific and scientific and technical activities are aimed at: - conducting research on the development of promising and modernization of existing models of armored weapons and equipment; - generalization and dissemination of experience in the combat use of armored weapons and equipment in armed conflicts; - development of scientific works, including monographs, textbooks, manuals, dissertations, articles, reports; - participation in scientific and scientific-practical conferences, seminars; - participation in testing of new (modernized) models of armored weapons and equipment; - development of patents and The department has a permanent cadet military science society and a technical club. Cadets take an active part in national and international competitions and other scientific events.
