The methodological work of the department is aimed at improving the methodology of training and education of cadets, improving the efficiency and quality of organization and conduct of all types of classes, improving the pedagogical skills of scientific and pedagogical staff, developing and publishing educational literature, improving the material and technical support of the educational process, studying, generalizing and disseminating best practices in the training and education of cadets, introducing into the educational process the experience of combat use of armored weapons.
Methodological support of the educational process is carried out on an ongoing basis, taking into account the real needs that arise in the pedagogical activities of the department's staff. At the meetings of the department, the issues of improving the structure and content of academic disciplines, methods of conducting and logistical support of training sessions, training of scientific and pedagogical personnel and advanced training of the department's personnel are discussed.
