The educational work at the faculty is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine on education, higher education standards that meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as taking into account the experience of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of our country.
The future commanders of engineering units undergo an in-depth study of specialized disciplines, and are taught the skills and abilities to use the equipment in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to mastering the skills of combat training and further training of subordinate personnel in the troops.
The field training and material base consists of training, tactical fields, and a diving training complex, which makes it possible to train highly qualified specialists of the engineering troops.
The faculty trains tactical officers for the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine at the bachelor's degree on the basis of complete general secondary education in the following specializations:
- "Arms and equipment of engineering troops"

"Management of actions of engineering units of troops and forces";
for a master's degree on the basis of basic higher education in the following specialization:

“Arms and equipment of engineering troops”.
A graduate of the faculty, who has studied in the specialization “Arms and Equipment of Engineering Troops”, is ready to manage engineering support units and carry out reliable and trouble-free operation and repair of engineering equipment in service with the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
| Young lieutenants who have studied in the specialization “Management of actions of engineering units of troops and forces” are ready managers capable of managing all units of engineering troops under any conditions, using the knowledge gained, to ensure mining and demining of the terrain, fortification of positions and areas, laying of roads, equipment of crossings over water obstacles and performing other tasks of engineering support of modern combat. |  |
