The faculty is designed to train tactical officers for the engineering troops of the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine.
To this end, the faculty teaches cadets - future officers - the basics of engineering support for modern combat, studying fundamental natural science disciplines, educating personnel in the spirit of patriotism, love for their homeland, and understanding the need to preserve the integrity and inviolability of our state.
To ensure that cadets can freely obtain the knowledge necessary for their future professional activities, the faculty has created social and living conditions, provides opportunities for self-improvement under the guidance of experienced teachers, and cadets are constantly working to improve their physical fitness. Particular attention is paid to meeting the cadets' moral and spiritual needs.
After completing the course of study at the faculty, a graduate officer is able to personally lead the unit entrusted to him, subordinate personnel and equipment, organize the implementation of tasks to provide engineering support for the actions of mechanized and tank units, and take measures to protect units and facilities from enemy weapons. It is well known that success in modern warfare is impossible without high-quality and timely engineering support, and the exploits of engineer soldiers have glorified the history of engineering troops, which was repeatedly confirmed by the faculty's graduates during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
“We, the military engineers, are a special kind of troops whose help is needed by the people in wartime, and this imposes a special responsibility on us. Be worthy of the heroic deeds of our graduates.” These are the words of the Head of the Faculty to the young lieutenants-graduates of the Faculty who will receive the high rank of OFFICER of the ENGINEERING FORCES and go to defend Ukraine!
And we can proudly say that our graduates are honorably performing their military duty on the front line in the course of combat operations, 133 of whom have been awarded state awards of Ukraine for their heroism and courage during combat missions.
