Nowadays the following classrooms are equipped at the department::
- computer classroom for training the maintenance of systems of radar intelligence collection and sound ranging, cadets’ acquisition of skills in planning of artillery reconnaissance and working out the reconnaissance papers, and also for cadets’ independent work with the possibility to get the information from the Internet;
- classroom of military topography;
- classroom of topography and geodesy training;
- classroom of optical intelligence;
- classroom of sound ranging;
- classroom of metereological training;
- classroom for demonstration the presentations and conducting the artillery reconnaissance, peculiarities of combat application of the NATO reconnaissance subunits;
- classroom of artillery reconnaissance organization;
- classroom of radar intelligence collection with deployed locators АRK-1М, SNAR-10, PSNR-5 and trainers for maintenance training;
- classroom of work with sound ranging system АZК-7 (system S-2)
- classroom of work with sound ranging system АZК-7 (system S-1)
- classroom of work and work order’s training on the radar intelligence collection equipment 1RL232-1.
Besides, practical field exercises are planned by teachers, and conducted on the International Centre of Peacekeeping and Safety where teachers with cadets work out educational issues on real samples of military equipment.
