The department of artillery reconnaissance systems and instruments is a part of the faculty of rocket troops and gun artillery. The department is designated to:
- train cadets:
- of specialization 6.050702 «Complexes and systems of armament and equipment of rocket and gun artillery», 6.160101 «Command and control over rocket and gun artillery troops actions»;
- of specialization « Artillery Reconnaissance Systems and Instruments», «Command and control over artillery subunits actions», «Command and control over rocket troops actions».
- train students:
- of the Army Academy due to a program of reserve officers’ training of a military specialization 191000 «Application of topographical and geodesic military units and subunits»;
- the courses of retraining and refresher training of the officers of the specialization «Artillery reconnaissance» are conducted on the base of the department.
