The course lasts for 1 week.
The course is designed to train brigade-corps officers with the rank of major-lieutenant colonel who have skills in working at the headquarters of a brigade/army corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and have some knowledge of the basics of the headquarters planning process, as well as knowledge of a foreign language (English) not lower than 2-2-2-2 in accordance with STANAG 6001.
The purpose of the course curriculum is to
- to improve the professional skills of the group's officers, their ability to act in accordance with NATO standards during a peacekeeping mission;
- to study the basics of troop management, decision-making process in accordance with NATO standards;
- to improve practical skills in working with topographic maps, radio communications and GPS navigators.
The course participants are expected to be appointed to officer positions at the KFOR mission headquarters in Kosovo in the future.
