The department trains tactical officers for the Armed Forces at the bachelor's and master's levels on the basis of complete general secondary education in accordance with the state order, determined by the annual joint orders of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in the specialty “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics”.
The organization of the educational process at the department covers the following disciplines: - Combat work of missile forces units; - Combat use of weapons and military equipment of missile forces units; - Combat use of missile forces units; - Structure and operation of missiles; - Ground equipment of missile systems; - Fundamentals of theory and structure of control and targeting systems; - Fundamentals of theory and design of aircraft; - Preparation of data for launching missiles; - Flight theory; - Missile strike control; - Higher mathematics for professional purposes.
