To provide moral and psychological support, the Faculty of Missile Forces and Artillery constantly organizes and conducts events aimed at making cadets aware of their belonging to the great Ukrainian nation. In addition, the faculty has established a clear system for developing aesthetic and moral qualities in future officers.
One of the leading areas of military and patriotic education of the personnel is popularization and coverage of heroic deeds of officers graduating from both the faculty and the National Academy. Meetings of cadets with military personnel and academic staff participating in the ATO and the Russian-Ukrainian war contribute to the patriotic education of future specialists.
For the purpose of information and propaganda support, the military and political situation in the country, decisions of the state leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine on countering modern challenges and threats are promptly covered through daily command briefings by academic staff.
The main focus of the faculty leadership is to foster high culture, moral qualities, a sense of patriotism, and loyalty to the traditions of the Ukrainian people and its army. To this end, cultural, educational and spiritual activities are properly organized.
The cadets of the Institute are active participants in amateur groups, such as the cadet choir, KVN teams, dance circle, sports clubs, etc. The teams of the cadet units take an active part in the Academy's amateur shows and competitions. During their leisure time, the cadets of the faculty have the opportunity to improve their physical fitness level by training in sports sections and as part of national teams, defending the honor of the unit and the Academy at various competitions, sports days, and tournaments.
Active cooperation with civic and veteran organizations has been established. Representatives of these organizations are regular guests at cultural and educational events in cadet units. The institute's cadets are actively involved in popularizing military service and patriotic education of civilian youth. Visits to theaters, museums, architectural monuments, parks and squares in Lviv help to develop culture and moral and ethical qualities. Work on the development of spirituality is important for the moral and psychological support of future officers. Together with seminarians of the main Christian denominations, a series of pastoral talks “Army and Spirituality” is held. Cadets have the opportunity to attend the Religious Studies Circle and participate in military pilgrimages both within Ukraine and abroad.
