The Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy was recently visited by a delegation of the Armed Forces of Denmark headed by the Chief of the Royal Danish Defense College, Major General Flemming Mathiasen.
During a meeting with the leadership of the educational institution, the foreign guests were briefed on the history of the Academy, the specifics of officer training, and the educational facilities of the university. During the briefing, the parties discussed key aspects of cooperation that will contribute to improving the defense capabilities of both countries.
This visit is part of a close and ongoing cooperation aimed at further strengthening relations and expanding cooperation in the training of military specialists at various levels of command.
“During today's meeting, we discussed with our Danish colleagues current security challenges, the most relevant areas of military training and prospects for deepening cooperation. I am convinced that this visit is another symbol of support, mutual understanding and exchange of experience between our countries. I am sincerely grateful to our partners for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this difficult time for our country,” said Colonel Roman Kachur, the Head of the National Academy.
