Recently, representatives of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark visited the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy. The delegation was headed by Lieutenant General Kenneth Pedersen, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark.
During a meeting with the leadership of the educational institution, the Head of the National Academy, Lieutenant General Pavlo Tkachuk, familiarized the foreign guests with the specifics and features of training officers for the Ukrainian army.
“This meeting was a significant step in deepening our cooperation, which began with the UNIFIER mission and now includes both the exchange of experience and the implementation of NATO standards in the training of highly qualified officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Over the years, we have felt strong support from our Danish partners in developing modern training and language programs that have become important elements of our military training,” said Lieutenant General Pavlo Tkachuk. - “It is especially symbolic that during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian occupiers, it is the friendly hand of Denmark that provides us with new opportunities to strengthen our defense capabilities and bring our common victory closer. We are sincerely grateful to the people, government, and Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark for their support and assistance, for cooperation and partnership in the name of common Victory, liberation from the invaders of Ukrainian land, and protection of Europe, and we highly appreciate the noble mission of the Kingdom of Denmark as, in particular, one of the leaders of the F-16 coalition for Ukraine.”
