It was another important milestone in the development of partnerships between the two countries, especially in the field of military education.
Together with his fellow educators and the Chief of the 184th Training Center, Brigadier General Hryhoriy Demianchyk, the Chief of the National Army Academy, Lieutenant General Pavlo Tkachuk, visited the production facilities of SAAB, a world leader in defense technology.
Together with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Sweden Andriy Plakhotniuk, the Ukrainian military met with SAAB Vice President Anders Karp to discuss further steps of cooperation and to secure mutual support, in particular in improving the quality of training of Ukrainian soldiers.
The visits to the Royal Regiment, commanded by Colonel Gustaf Dufberg, and the Karlberg Military Academy, headed by Colonel Yorker Sandström, not only allowed for deeper cooperation, but also strengthened the partnership at the strategic level.
Of particular importance was the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Swedish Defense University, which opens up new opportunities for exchanging experience, improving the quality of training of Ukrainian officers and introducing modern NATO standards into the Ukrainian military education system.
