The event lasted for two days in a distance format via video conference.
The purpose of the scientific event was to discuss scientific research on weapons and military equipment of the Land Forces, exchange of experience in scientific and technical activities and preparation of recommendations on further directions and ways to solve problematic issues.
More than 530 abstracts were submitted for the conference, representing participants from more than 40 scientific institutions, enterprises, organizations and higher education institutions of Ukraine. The conference was co-organized by the leading institutions in the field of arms and military equipment research: State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Arms and Military Equipment (Cherkasy), Central Research Institute of Arms and Military Equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Kyiv), National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine (Kharkiv), Military Institute of Tank Troops of the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (Kharkiv), etc.
More than 60 reports were presented at the plenary and six sectional sessions, during which, based on the experience gained in the training and use of troops (forces) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to repel armed aggression, the state and prospects for the development of weapons and military equipment of mechanized and tank troops, missile troops and artillery, command and control systems, unmanned aerial and ground robotic systems, weapons and military equipment of the Support Forces, training equipment and combat equipment, etc. were discussed.
During the scientific forum, the participants analyzed the peculiarities of organizing testing of weapons and military equipment under martial law, the operation of the system for collecting and using trophy weapons and military equipment. Also, scientific ties were established and cooperation was planned on topical issues of introducing new technologies and technical solutions that have been widely used since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Based on the results of the conference, a "Collection of abstracts of the International Scientific and Technical Conference" was created, which will be available on the official website of the Academy.
