Today, a delegation of the National Defense Academy of the Republic of Latvia headed by Gundars Sokolovskis visited the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.
During the meeting, the parties traditionally exchanged views and opinions on current approaches to military training and agreed on a plan of joint activities for 2024.
“I would like to emphasize that our cooperation has already crossed the declarative line and is actively continuing in the practical plane. The intentions and goals are quite ambitious. The only goal is to do everything necessary to improve the level of training of Ukrainian and Latvian military specialists for effective professional activity in view of the urgent challenges dictated, in particular, by the russian military aggression,” said Lieutenant General Pavlo Tkachuk, Commandant of the National Academy. - “I am grateful to my Latvian colleagues and friends for their active cooperation and support!”
