“I am grateful to the organizers and all the participants of the tournament for this real chess holiday, which eloquently demonstrated one of the symbols of the game of kings - a harmonious combination of art and strength. One of the strongest chess players in the world, Jose Raul Capablanca y Graupera, once said: “You learn much more from a lost game than from a won one...”, - emphasized Lieutenant General Pavlo Tkachuk, Head of the National Army Academy, in his welcoming speech. - “So, every result, even negative, is an experience without which there will be no victory either on the chessboard or on the battlefield. Together - to Victory!”
