Moral and psychological support at the Military NCO College is based on factors that are relevant in the current period of development of the Ukrainian state and army.
Moral and psychological support is aimed at maintaining a high level of moral and psychological state and discipline of the college personnel, formation of leadership qualities, professional ability, functional readiness, emotional and moral readiness of future sergeants for armed defense of the homeland, education of future specialists on the examples of courage of the Ukrainian army, formation of patriotism, love for the native land, respect for the historical and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people, ensuring spiritual unity between generations.
Moral and psychological support of the personnel is one of the main components of the educational process at the Military College, carried out according to the approved plan, which includes the main areas of work:
- moral and psychological support of the educational process;
- information and propaganda support for personnel;
- psychological support for the personnel;
- social support for personnel.
The main tasks of moral and psychological support for the personnel of the Military College are defined:
- formation of cadets' national consciousness and self-awareness;
- fostering respect for the Constitution of Ukraine, legal awareness, and unconditional compliance with the requirements of military regulations and Ukrainian legislation among cadets;
- Formation of a stable system of worldview, understanding of state policy, conviction in their correctness, and a conscious attitude to the purpose and objectives of combat activities;
- organization of active counteraction to the enemy's information and psychological influence on personnel;
- fostering in cadets a conscious attitude to learning and realizing their capabilities as specialists;
- educating cadets in high moral and ethical behavior;
- formation of cadets' aesthetic culture of personality;
- creation of appropriate social and legal conditions at the college that ensure that the staff performs their functional duties.
At the Military College of Non-Commissioned Officers, future sergeants acquire knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure their cultural and spiritual development.
The main factors contributing to this are:
- a modern museum of the history of the National Army Academy with its large-scale exhibitions;
- rich historical and cultural heritage of the city of Lviv with a large number of museums, theaters, and other artistic institutions;
- a developed network of cadet clubs, studios and amateur groups of the National Army Academy;
- Church of the Archangel Michael of the National Army Academy, Military Church of the Presentation of the Lord.
| The system of moral and psychological support includes a set of measures aimed at developing the spiritual and moral potential, as well as physical hardening, skills, and the formation of a healthy lifestyle for cadets. The college has a well-established system of sports clubs and sections. The college's basketball, volleyball, football, and track and field teams are regular participants and multiple winners of academic sports competitions. |  |
| A significant place in moral and psychological support is given to the national-patriotic education of personnel and its main component - military-patriotic education of youth, which in wartime becomes a priority and is focused on forming the personnel's readiness to defend the Motherland, the desire to win at any cost and to show courage, resilience and heroism, developing the desire to acquire military professions, to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a special type of public service. Meetings with participants in combat operations and international peacekeeping operations have become traditional, and the anniversaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military professional holidays and memorable dates are celebrated at a high organizational level. Military-patriotic and cultural work with personnel is systematically conducted. The Military College of Non-Commissioned Officers trains true patriots of their profession and holds a leading position among the professional higher education institutions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. |
