The main tasks of the Military College of Non-Commissioned Officers of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy are:
- training of qualified personnel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from among the citizens of Ukraine;
- Ensuring the fulfillment of orders and other agreements for the training of military specialists in professional higher education;
- Implementation of educational activities for the training of military specialists, which includes educational, upbringing, methodological and cultural activities;
- providing conditions for mastering the system of knowledge about man, nature and society, military affairs;
- formation of a socially mature, creative personality;
- education of a morally, mentally and physically healthy generation of conscious citizens of the Ukrainian state;
- fulfillment of moral norms and generally recognized principles of international law;
- formation of civic position, patriotism, self-esteem, readiness for military and professional activity on the basis of developed, professionally important qualities, responsibility for one's share of society, the state and humanity;
- ensuring high ethical standards in relations between military personnel, teachers and cadets, an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual respect;
- Ensuring that cadets acquire knowledge in a particular field, preparing them for service;
- professional development of teaching staff;
- military-patriotic, cultural and educational activities.
All students of the Military College take the Mid-Level Leadership Course and after graduation are appointed as mid-level sergeants in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
