Methodical work at the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Military Leadership is carried out in order to improve the professional skills of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department, increase the efficiency and quality of organization and conduct of all types of training, improve the material and technical support of the educational process and methods of forming leadership competencies, study and generalize the experience of moral and psychological support for the performance of service and combat missions by units and subunits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For this purpose, the following are among the priority areas of methodological work at the Department of Moral and Psychological Support of Troops' Activities
development of curricula, training programs, working curricula and methodological support for conducting training sessions by scientific and pedagogical workers who have significant service and pedagogical experience;
preparation, review of textbooks, manuals, dissertation research in psychological, pedagogical, cultural and military leadership areas;
constant search, development and implementation of new forms, methods and technologies of education; study and implementation of best practices in the organization of the educational process.
The exchange of experience and assistance to academic staff in organizing classes and improving the methodology of their conduct is carried out through a set of open and demonstration classes, which involve experienced and highly qualified academic staff of the department. In addition, the academic staff regularly participate in scientific and methodological seminars and meetings, meetings of the Academic Councils of the Institute of Moral and Psychological Support and the National Academy, meetings of the Department to discuss ways to improve cadet training and introduce best practices in the educational process.
