Gold at the Army Commander's Cup in Combat Sambo

The Commander of the Ground Forces Open Cup in sports and combat sambo was held from March 10 to 12. Approximately 200 athletes from leading military universities and branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine participated in the competition.

Overall team standings (combat sambo):

  • 🏆 I place — National Army Academy;
  • 🥈 II place — Zhytomyr Military Institute;
  • 🥉 III place — Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Our leaders in the individual standings:

  • Women (gold): Tamara Ignatko, Olga Patsyuk, Daryna Dmytrenko, Yevheniia Hylka.
  • Men (gold): Andriy Rybalko, Ihor Kolisnichenko, Valerii Maiboroda, Illia Smilianskyi, Mykyta Khadzhinov, Danylo Haletskyi, Kyrylo Knyha. Silver medalists: Illia Ashifin, Nazar Morgun, Vitalii Gedzyk.

Among the operational commands showed the best results Operational Command “East” та Operational Command “West”.
