World Experience in the Development and Use of the Land Component of Special Operations Forces (Second Half of the XX - Beginning of the XXI Century): A Monograph

In the monograph based on the scientific research of the complex of documentary sources and literature the author showed the hindsight of the creation and specifics of special forces employment as a separate structural and functional component of the Army in the leading world countries in the last half of the XX and the beginning of the XXI centuries. A special attention is paid to the creation, evolution and transformation of special operations forces as independent elite units of the armed forces of present-day armies.
