The main efforts on moral and psychological support at the Department of Military History are focused on the implementation of legislative acts, in particular in the humanitarian and social spheres, military and patriotic education and formation of high moral qualities of a patriotic citizen among cadets, strengthening the state and patriotic orientation of the educational process, promoting national culture and spirituality, and conducting military-patriotic, cultural and educational activities.

The activities of the department's teachers are aimed at maintaining a healthy moral and psychological state among cadets, improving the quality of education and training by involving them in the organization of extracurricular activities, strengthening discipline and uniting cadets in the unit.

The department's faculty members work to create conditions for cadets' self-development, foster cultural and spiritual values, and engage them in in-depth study of Ukraine's military history through visits to historical sites.
Considerable attention is paid to prompt coverage of the military and political situation in the country, decisions of the state leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine on countering the enemy through daily informational sessions by the academic staff of the departments. The heroic deeds of officers - graduates of the faculty and the National Academy in general - are also covered. Meetings with military personnel and academic staff who are participants of the ATO contribute to the patriotic education of cadets.
