The department has a comprehensive system of pedagogical measures aimed at prioritizing the development of humane approaches in the educational process, taking into account the specifics of training military specialists in accordance with their specialty. The staff of the department pays special attention to - moral and psychological support of the educational process; - activities of the teaching staff to increase the humanitarian component of various academic disciplines; - cultural, educational and educational work; - implementation of pedagogical monitoring of the signs of professional and moral qualities of the graduate on the basis of systematic diagnostics; - introduction of experience of anti-terrorist operation, combat operations and international peace and security operations, advanced methods of training the armed forces of member states in the process of training military specialists NATO. 
As part of the educational process and on the basis of the Supervision System, the department has planned the work of supervisory officers. This level of officers is of particular importance in the context of pedagogical support for cadets, as they interact most closely with study groups. The main attention in organizing and conducting educational activities at the department is focused on the moral and psychological support of the educational process. There is a constant monitoring of the moral and business qualities of cadets, identification, study and solution of problematic issues related to the adaptation of first-year cadets.
