Scientific work at the Department of Firearms Training

Body

Scientific work is one of the important activities of the Firearms Training Department. It includes the preparation of training, teaching and visual aids, scientific articles for collections of scientific papers, scientific guidance and counseling, participation in scientific conferences, and the work of the cadets' military scientific society.

While participating in scientific conferences, the department's teachers study the best practices of organizing and conducting classes, including the use of modern technical means of education. The department holds scientific and practical seminars on topical issues, including improving the training of cadets and reserve officers, taking into account the experience of using units in the area of anti-terrorist operation.

The inventive and rationalization work of the department's staff is aimed at improving the department's teaching and material base, visual aids to improve the cadets' learning process. Members of the Department's Military Science Society take an active part in the process of developing rationalization proposals. One of the most significant is: -A training and operating stand for the night tank sight TPN3-49 (for T-72), which is used to train accuracy in aiming, determining the range to the target, and adjusting fire in various modes.

The manufactured training and operating stand of the TPN3-49 sight allows to:

1. To train personnel in the correct aiming, determination of initial settings for firing (solving the problem of hitting the target) both in the main (automatic) and emergency modes.
2. To train personnel to adjust the range and direction of fire.
3. Train personnel to determine the range of targets.
4. Study with the personnel the elements of the field of view of the sight - the guidance device TPN3-49.
5. To control the actions of the trainee when using the field of view of the sight - guidance device TPN3-49, introducing corrections for deviations of firing conditions from normal.
