An important component of the educational process at the faculty against the backdrop of full-scale armed aggression by the enemy occupation forces of the Russian Federation is moral and psychological support, which is aimed at:
- explaining to the personnel the causes, nature and purpose of the war; building confidence in the inevitability of our victory in the Russian-Ukrainian war; establishing a communication process;
-  to develop in cadets high motivation and a strong desire to master the military profession and to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the army;
-  maintaining a proper moral and psychological state, loyalty to the military oath and military duty, creating social and humanitarian conditions for the effective performance of assigned tasks;
-  training of engineer officers who are able to act confidently in a difficult situation, create and maintain an atmosphere of socially important moral and ethical relations in military teams, be able to give the right order and save the lives of subordinates;
-  introducing the experience of war, combat operations and international peace and security operations, as well as advanced training methods of the armed forces of NATO member states into the process of training military engineers.

To this end, the faculty pays special attention to the formation of high spiritual culture and moral qualities, a sense of patriotism, and loyalty to the traditions of the Ukrainian people among engineering cadets. This is largely facilitated by the proper organization of cultural and military-patriotic activities.

Information and propaganda support focuses on prompt coverage of the military-political situation in the country, decisions of the state leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine on countering modern challenges and threats through daily command briefings by academic staff.

Considerable attention is paid to military-patriotic work with personnel through propaganda and coverage of the heroic deeds of officers who graduated from the faculty and the National Academy in general. Meetings of cadets with military personnel and academic staff who have participated in combat operations contribute to this endeavor.

Today, engineer troops are an important component of the combat potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. True to the traditions of the older generations, engineer soldiers are still honorably fulfilling their constitutional duty by performing combat missions in the Russian-Ukrainian war, demonstrating loyalty to the military oath, high professionalism and combat skills. In doing so, they demonstrate heroism.

Thinking about the past, present, and future of the engineering troops, I always remember their slogan: “To be ahead, to neutralize in time, to save honor and life!”, which shows that the complex and dangerous profession of a military engineer is extremely necessary.
