Body

The Electromechanics Laboratory is located in room 344 of the educational building No. 3 of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy. The laboratory was established in 2015. Professor Yurii Shabatura, Head of the Department of Electromechanics and Electronics, and Professor Yaroslav Paranchuk, Head of the Department, take an active part in the development of the laboratory. The laboratory is supervised by Associate Professor Oleksii Kuznetsov. The highly qualified head of the laboratory, Taras Kulai, implements all the ideas.

The Electromechanics Laboratory is a basic laboratory for the Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics program. It provides full training for cadets in the following disciplines: - Electrical machines and devices - Theory of electric drive - Electromechanical control systems - Energy-saving electromechanical systems and electric drives

The laboratory is equipped with special stands
for the study of electromechanical systems and devices:

Pulse-phase control system using a digital speed sensor

Laboratory installation of the electric drive of the BM-21 MLRS guidance mechanism based on the PWM-D scheme.

Test bench for frequency control of an induction drive based on the Altavir11 frequency converter.

A test bench for studying the operation of an induction motor in three-phase, single-phase and capacitor modes.

A bench for studying the peculiarities of construction of typical nodes of relay-contactor circuits of electric drives.

The Electromechanics Laboratory is equipped with DC motors, AC motors, and DC generators. In the future, the laboratory will be filled with independently developed modern equipment and stands that allow researching basic types of electric machines in various operating modes, electrical devices, typical control schemes for DC and AC motors, electromechanical systems used in various weapons and military equipment, as well as modern electromechanical systems based on DC collectorless motors, stepper motors using digital and microprocessor technology.
