An integral part of the integral educational and pedagogical process and one of the main activities of the department is educational and methodological work, which provides for the implementation of issues related to planning, organizing and conducting all types of training sessions, independent work of cadets, their practical training, and individual tasks. The department has a permanent educational and methodological seminar, which addresses issues of organizational, scientific and methodological support of the educational process. Methodical work at the department is organized and carried out according to a special plan of methodical work developed for the academic year. During monthly planning, it is refined and supplemented, taking into account the dynamic situations of today and the urgency of military service tasks. The purpose of the methodological work is to increase the level of pedagogical skills of the teacher and the scientific and pedagogical staff, to establish unity of views on education and upbringing, as well as on the use of the educational and material base, and to develop and apply new teaching methods. The main tasks of methodical work at the department: - improving the methodological skills of research and teaching staff; - improving the organization and provision of the educational process; - improving the methodology, increasing the efficiency and quality of all types of training sessions; - introducing new teaching methods and techniques into the educational process; - continuous improvement of the methodological skills of teachers, participation in methodological meetings, conferences, seminars, etc; - Increasing the responsibility of teachers for the quality of classes. The department pays great attention to new forms of presentation of teaching and learning materials. The computerization of the educational process and the expansion of the use of Internet technologies have contributed to the creation of special types of electronic textbooks, educational films, training and testing programs in the disciplines of the department. The staff of the department constantly develops and publishes textbooks, manuals and monographs to provide basic disciplines from the cycle of professional and practical training. СToday, the department's methodological heritage includes more than 30 textbooks and manuals, 9 utility model patents, 2 certificates of copyright registration for a work, and about 40 certificates for an innovation proposal.
