The cycle commission for general military disciplines was established on December 28, 2007. Lieutenant Colonel Murashov Ihor Yuriiovych was appointed as the first head of the cycle commission. In different years, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Dutko and Lieutenant Colonel Roman Khorev were the heads of the cycle commission. Since 2015, the cycle commission has been headed by Lieutenant Colonel Andrii Anatoliiovych Kyrylkov. The first graduation of specialists in the graduation specialty was carried out in 2013. Over the years, the cycle commission has trained about 46 specialists, 8 of whom graduated with honors. Graduates of the cycle commission perform duties in various positions in all branches of the armed forces and in the Joint Forces Operation area. They are an example of courage, heroism and exemplary performance of military duty, as evidenced by the awards of the state leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The educational work at the cycle commission is organized and carried out in accordance with orders, instructions and other regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Science.

The cycle commission trains specialists on the basis of complete general secondary education of junior specialists with the educational qualification level of “junior specialist”, the cycle commission is a graduation commission for the field of knowledge - Military Sciences, National Security, State Border Security in the specialty “Military Administration (by types of the Armed Forces)”, specialization “Management of actions of units of mechanized troops” and “Management of actions of artillery units” with a training period of 2 years 6 months, and also conducts classes with cadets in the following areas Position of the graduate in the specialization “Management of actions of units of mechanized troops”: specialist in military management of units of mechanized troops, in the specialization “Management of actions of artillery units”: specialist in military management of RViA units, sergeant of the middle level.

Teachers of the cycle commission also conduct classes with servicemen in the mid-level noncommissioned officer training courses. The cycle commission is responsible for teaching the following subjects: “ Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their practical application ” Tactics “ Management of actions of mechanized units ” Military topography “ Management of daily activities of units (including protection of state secrets, life safety, basics of labor protection, safety of military activities, jurisprudence, including IHL) ” IHL) “ ” Fundamentals of military management “ ” Small arms and firearms training “ ” Firearms training “ ” History of wars and military art “ ” Combat system of survival of a warrior (including military medical training) “, ” Military medical training “ ” Radiation, chemical, biological protection of units and basics of communication ".

As a result of studying the disciplines of the cycle commission on general military disciplines, cadets must: - perform official duties when bringing units to various degrees of combat readiness; - skillfully and effectively use standard weapons in combat; - restore the combat capability of the unit; - own small arms, - fulfill firearms training standards, exercises of small arms training; - navigate the terrain without a map and on a map, prepare a map for work; - provide first aid and be able to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield; - know the basics of survival of servicemen in extreme conditions; - move effectively on the battlefield, skillfully use weapons, perform tasks in extreme situations.

Among the pedagogical staff of the cycle commission are officers who have gained combat experience in the ATO and pass it on in teaching disciplines.
