The main directions of scientific and technical activities of the Department are: - development and improvement of driving training aids; - development and improvement of elements of the driving training and material base; - development and improvement of mathematical, software, hardware and didactic support of simulators; - development and improvement of the system of objective control of driving exercises (practical skills) and training (theoretical knowledge); - development and improvement of didactic support of the Department's disciplines. The staff of the department actively participates in the rationalization and invention work of the Academy. The department has about 80 rationalization proposals and more than 10 inventions. The staff of the department is an active participant in the All-Army competition “Best Invention of the Year”, where it has repeatedly won prizes in various nominations.

The department has a military scientific society circle, whose cadets constantly take an active part in competitions, seminars, conferences of the department, faculty, Academy, inter-university, and all-Ukrainian competitions of scientific works of cadets (students). The cadets' works have won prizes. |
