To this end, events are constantly organized and held to imprint in the minds of the cadets their belonging to the great Ukrainian nation. In addition, the faculty has established a clear system for developing aesthetic and moral qualities in future officers.

One of the main directions is the military-patriotic education of personnel through propaganda and coverage of the heroic deeds of officers - graduates of the faculty and the National Academy in general. The patriotic education of cadets is facilitated by meetings with military personnel and academic staff who are participants of the ATO.

The main focus of information and propaganda support is on prompt coverage of the military-political situation in the country, decisions of the state leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine on countering modern challenges and threats through daily command briefings by academic staff.

Special attention of the faculty leadership is aimed at fostering high culture and moral qualities, a sense of patriotism, loyalty to the traditions of the Ukrainian people and its army. To a large extent, this is facilitated by the proper organization of cultural, educational and spiritual activities.

The cadets of the faculty are active participants in amateur artistic groups, such as the cadet choir, KVN teams, dance circle, “What? Where? When?” club, etc.

The teams of the cadet units take an active part in the Academy's amateur performances. During their leisure time, the cadets of the faculty have the opportunity to improve their physical fitness level by training in sports sections and as part of national teams, defending the honor of the unit and the Academy at various competitions, sports days, and tournaments.

Active cooperation with public and veteran organizations has been established. Representatives of these organizations are regular guests at cultural and educational events in the cadet units.

The cadets of the faculty are actively involved in the work on popularization of military service and patriotic education of civilian youth.

Visits to theaters, museums, architectural monuments, parks and squares in Lviv contribute to the cultural development of the personnel.

Important work is also being done to develop the spirituality of cadets, future officers. Together with seminarians of the main Christian denominations, a series of pastoral talks “Army and Spirituality” is held. The cadets have the opportunity to attend the Religious Studies Circle and participate in military pilgrimages both within Ukraine and abroad, including Lourdes, France.

The hallmark of the Faculty of Combat Use of Forces and the Academy as a whole is the Honor Guard Company, which consists of about 70 cadets.

The personnel of the Honor Guard Company takes an active part in the events on the occasion of state, military and professional holidays, historical events, solemn meetings of representatives of the leadership of the State and its Armed Forces, as well as other events held at the Academy, in the garrison and in the Western region of Ukraine as a whole.
